Peter
The Hotel Eyfel surpassed my expectations with its excellent value for money. The prices were very reasonable considering the convenient location in the old district, close to many tourist attractions. The attention to detail in this hotel was impressive. From the basic amenities provided in the clean and comfortable rooms, to the well-maintained windows that offered a lovely view of the street, every little aspect was taken care of. The service and staff at this hotel were commendable. Despite it not being a 5-star establishment, the front desk employees were friendly and had a good command of English, making communication easy and hassle-free. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast provided at the hotel. The buffet spread was varied and satisfying, with fresh options and a pleasant dining area.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

From good sides of this hotel I can tell that thay have very good location (near the tram, all main historical points is very close). Thay have good breakfast. Some from his rooms is really nice, but only some. Finnally - few men from his staff is really helpful and good people.
Service is really poor :( We booked double room, but on the check in we asked to change it to suit. Suit was bigger and we (me, my wife and 4 years son) choosed to pay more, but stay in suit with bed and sofa. Staff on the check in told us that thay gave us best room, which they have free in this moment. Condition was broken. One from 3 lamps in room turned off after 20 minuts of our stay. Room was not so clean, as must be in 3* hotel. Second floor, very hot summer, but we cant close the windows... :( Design was poor, old furnitures. Refregirator was - "back to the 60-s". First we didnt pay attention to this because we wanted to go out in Istanbul-city as fast as possible :) But when we came back to hotel at night and inside the room was so hot, lamp crashed and ... We asked to give us other room. Other man told that there is no free rooms but after I ask again thay found same suit on the 4floor. That room was much better, we keep it. But our impression was spoiled.

Small and friendly with a lovely small roof terrace with a pool. Quiet for a city hotel and near main road to the sights. Staff helpful and friendly and food very good.
The rooftop terrace has no permanent daytime staff and a fridge that has been padlocked for ages and no-one has the key. Means if you want service you have to go down to reception and order something and they bring it up for you. There is no bar available on the roof (even though one has been built) and the terrace closes at 7pm. It's a shame because there is quite a nice view and no noise due to a glass surround. It would have been nice to eat and drink up there in the evening! Lady called Sybil was lovely but she worked in restaurant 7-10am serving breakfast then came to roof terrace, so I asked at reception for the terrace key myself, no problem. A telephone on the terrace bar would be a good idea then you could just call down for service if needed. Instead poor woman had to run up and down stairs every time you wanted food or drink!!

The staff were very pleasant, that is the only positive comment I can make
Did not like anything. Smelly, bad facilities, bad breakfast, roof terrace filthy with covered over 'swimming pool', gym - on roof also, few broken looking bits of equipment. Appalling. Decor appalling. We put our money in an office, even there, smell, filthy, filthy place. I felt sorry for the people working there. Sorry to be so negative, but it really was dreadful. Dont stay there

The Hotel Eyfel is a hidden gem in a peaceful area of the old district. The value for money is outstanding - it's hard to find accommodation this affordable in such a prime location. The staff are friendly and helpful, showing great attention to detail. The rooms are cozy with street-oriented windows, offering a lovely view of the surroundings. Plus, the breakfast is a great way to start the day.
All was well; nothing needs improvement.

Great location near attractions and good transportation. Close to restaurants and shops. Clean and spacious room with comfortable bedding.
Poor service during check-in and check-out. Unhelpful and disinterested staff. Limited breakfast options and low-quality food. No amenities like pool or fitness center. disappointing experience for a business trip.
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
